What it never does, what it keeps, and how to make it all go away.

Who is responsible for your data: CS2coach, a trading name. Contact: hello@cs2.coach.

Nothing is installed on your PC. You place one text file in the game's folder yourself.

No installer, no program beside the game, no admin rights, no overlay, and nothing that looks at your screen.

The bot lives on one rented server in the United Kingdom, where your data is stored, with a backup copy on CS2coach's own machine.

Your messages and numbers from your games, with names taken out, go to a language-model service in the United States, which writes some of the bot's answers. Nothing in them says who you are, and the UK's approved contract terms protect the transfer. The server also asks FACEIT for your match history by your Steam account, to find your replays. The hosting company only runs the machine and does not use your data. Its backup keeps a copy for up to a week.

What is kept, and for how long.

Your replays and your live game dataAbout a month, then deleted from the server. The backup copy is deleted by hand.
The numbers made from them, your chat with the bot, your settingsUntil you type “delete”
Each line the bot sent you, and your repliesUntil you type “delete”
Your Steam password, any login, screenshotsNever
Other players in your matchNever a profile. Their names and moves are kept only as part of your replay and your game data.

Payments.

When you buy a plan, Paddle sells you the subscription and handles the payment. Paddle receives your card details, your email and your country, and keeps its own records under its own privacy notice (paddle.com/legal/privacy). CS2coach never sees your card details. From Paddle, CS2coach receives only whether your subscription is on, its plan, its end date, and Paddle's customer and subscription numbers.

Why each is used.

To coach you and to run your subscription, CS2coach relies on the contract you agreed to.

Your rights: one word each, typed to the bot.

coach off
stops every message. The bot still receives your game data. To stop that, type revoke.
revoke
stops your setup file: nothing of your game is read until you set up again
delete
removes everything held about you. You have a day to change your mind (type delete cancel). Then it is gone from the server. The backup copy is deleted by hand, and the hosting company's own backup within a week.

delete and revoke ask you to confirm. Type delete yes or revoke yes within two minutes.

You can also ask to see the data held about you, get a copy to take elsewhere, correct it, or limit how it is used. Write to hello@cs2.coach. You can also complain to your data-protection authority. The ICO's guide The bot sends only two kinds of link: your own setup file and your FACEIT match room. links off stops them. It never asks for a password, never shows an ad or a price.

An admin can pause or restart your coach, stop your setup file, or remove you. An admin is the bot's owner, or a player the owner names. The bot tells you in one line when an admin does this. A removal waits a day, and you can stop it by typing delete cancel. An admin can also remove you at once. Your own words coach on, revoke and delete always work.

Anti-cheat: three things it never does.

  1. The bot never loads into the CS2 process: no DLL, no hook, no overlay drawn inside the game window.
  2. It never reads the game's memory.
  3. It never writes to the game's files. The only file is the game-state file you place yourself (its name starts with gamestate_integration_gsifeed_), the way Valve documents for outside services to receive game state. Valve's page

Valve's own page says VAC finds cheats installed on your computer and bans for changing the game's program files. None of the above is that. Valve's VAC page

⚠ Steam may show a red warning in the chat

CS2coach is a one-of-a-kind live service and still experimental. Steam may show a red Suspicious Chat banner above the bot's messages. You can dismiss it. The bot is safe.

The bot never asks for a trade, a password, a Steam Guard code or payment details. It sends only two kinds of link: your own setup file and your FACEIT match room. If you said no to links, it sends none. If a message ever does otherwise, it is not the bot. Report it.
